Let me introduce myself.

My name is Masayuki Ishitani.

I have been teaching for 19 years.
And I’m currently working at Kanagawa Sohgoh High School.
Our school is located in Yokohama. It takes about half an hour from Tokyo by train.

The year before last and last year,
Kanagawa Pref. Board of Education dispatched me to the Yokohama National University Master Course (Hashimoto Seminar).
And I researched “How useful computers are in mathematics lessons”.

The title of my master's thesis is "Research on using computers as a teaching tool for intellectual activity in high school mathematics' classes".

I found some findings.

This summer,The 9th International Congress on Mathematics Education will be held in Chiba, Makuhari.

I will attend it.And,
I will present my findings in a display form not as a lecture style.

If anyone is interested in my findings, please contact me.

So I must learn English conversation.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was born in 1959.

Now, I live in Ohta-ward. It is south of Tokyo.

I have three daughters.They are 10, 8, and 5 years old.

I live with my family and wife's parents and two brothers, total 9 people.
(In Japanese "MASUOSAN")
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My hobby is operating an amateur radio station.

25 years have passed since the amateur radio station was started.

My callsign is "JI1TJJ". My handle is "MASA".

I have an extra class license of amateur radio station.

I had communicated by the amateur radio with a lot of people.
Both Japanese and foreigners.

Perhaps, so, you think that I(Ishitani) speak English very well.

Oh it is not so.

The communication method I like most is Morse code.

In Japanese,"ton,tsuu,ton,tsuu"

The Morse code method needs only spelling.

So I have never heard the pronunciation of native speakers.

The reason I like the Morse code method is because overseas radio communication
frequently has electrical noise.

So I can hardly hear the pronunciation of the native speakers.

So I have poor English.

Now the task I think is to become a good speaker of English.
